[Reverse side, notes in blue pen] NOTE: In a phone conversation on May 10th 1994 Kevin Grant of Ignatius Press told me that this triolet was by G.C. Heseltine. It appeared in GK’s Weekly (24 Nov 1928) over the initials G.C.K. In GK’s own bound volume Dorothy Collins had amended this in pencil to ‘GKC’, but we now know that it would have been ‘GCH’ for George Coulahan Heseltine. It was collected into the 1974 edtn of Greybeards + into ‘Collected Nonsense + Light Verse’ (Xanadu 1987).
