General note Enclosures:[two identical square pieces of paper with printed text advertising the publication] Text reads: The Missing Father Brown Story... The Mask of Midas. Available for the first time, the last Father Brown story has been published in a fine limited edition of only 1000 numbered copies in decorated red cloth boards. With calligraphy illustrations by the Norwegian artist, Noralf Husby. The volume includes a valuable chronological bibliography of all the Father Brown stories by John Peterson, editor of the Mid-West Chesterton News, U.S.A. Notes are given, detailing for the reader all the corrections made by Chesterton to the original typescript. With an introduction on the story and its provenance by Geir Hasnes, the learned bibliographer of Chesterton, whose massive work is nearing completion. NOTE: This volume is NOT available through bookshops. It has been produced to a very high standard by members of the Norwegian Chesterton Society, who also helped finance the publication, and it will become a sought-after collectors' item in future. Chestertonian causes, and particularly the Chesterton Study Centre in Bedford, have benefitted from the enterprise. Price £18.
