520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc The story begins with the arrival of the mysterious sea captain Billy Bones, at the Benbow Inn, run by a Mrs. Hawkins and her son Jim. Billy meets an untimely and suspicious death, and shortly afterwards Jim receives the "black spot" and a faded treasure map. After consulting with his two trusted friends, Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawney, the three decide to set sail for Treasure Island. Unknowingly, they hire a crew of the very "dastards" who are responsible for Bily Bones death. The inimitable and justly famous Orson Welles gives a masterful performance in the role of the evil and conniving Captain Long John Silver, the feisty old sea dog who eliminates everything and everyone in his way.
